Characteristics
The Cavalry is a Knight mounted on a Cavalry Horse. Now a Cavalry Knight, they are equipped with a Cavalry Spear to skewer any enemy they come into and a Cavalry Shield to protect them from small projectiles. The horse allows the Cavalry Knight ride swiftly into battle, tanking attacks from the enemy and trampling units that get into their way.
Sharing the Jouster Horse's ability to create shockwaves wherever they canter, the Cavalry Horse can trample any enemy units that blocks their way. In addition, whoever is unfortunate enough to get under them can get kicked by the horse's hind legs, taking even more injuries. The horse's front legs on the other hand are harmless when struck.
When engaging, the Cavalry Horse will pull back and forcefully charge into enemy forces, disrupting their formation and trampling the weak to their demise. The Cavalry Knight also has their Knight Charge, which they will utilize if they are dismounted.
Appearance
They appear to be a regular Knight unit, but with a spear. They also have a horse with a saddle blanket and some neck and head armor. The unit's spear appears to have a spear head with two smaller ones in it, and three flags hanging down from it.

Strategy
Usage
The Cavalry's charge attack boasts an impressive damage output. Combining this with its above average speed makes for an extremely effective rush down character, capable of bringing down some of the largest units in a matter of seconds. The horse however has a large hitbox and low amount of health for its size, meaning many ranged units can kill the horse before it is able to do any major damage. The knight on its own is not as powerful as their armor and impressive weaponry may lead you to believe.
Unit Possession
The Cavalry unit can be steered, but will always be moving forward while the horse is alive, much like the Wheelbarrow unit. The horse's charge is also outside of the player's direct control. That said, they can aim where they attack while mounted. The unit also has a shield bash attack, though it is fairly useless while on horseback.

Trivia
- If the Cavalry Knight dies when they are still mounted on the horse, the horse will die as well.
- Despite the Knight looking the same as a normal one, it has less health, and only having slightly more health than a Jouster Rider.
- The Jouster is more accurate in terms of function, since the Cavalry backs up before charging, while the Jouster does not.
- Even though it's already a quite powerful Unit, it used to be a lot stronger, able to instantly kill a King or Mammoth.
- In one of the patches, Landfall Games leaked the Cavalry Knight without their mount.
- The Cavalry Horse share the Jouster Horse's trampling attack despite having their own variant in the game files.
- They also share the same voicelines.
- When it was teased, the Cavalry unit seemed to be for the Ancient Faction.
- Its spear was originally the Valkyrie's before the latter was equipped with two swords.
