The Flag Bearer is a melee unit from the Legacy faction. They are equipped with the Charge Flag.

Characteristics

The Flag Bearer is a Legacy Faction unit that wields a large flag. The flag represents its own team color on the fabric, and it also boosts its teammates' movement speed. It also makes a weird and long sound.

Location

To unlock the unit, go to the Legacy map and head to the Blue camp. The Flag Bearer's flag is in the center of the camp. Stare at it until it glows and shakes to unlock the unit.

Appearance

The Flag Bearer wields a flag with its own team color on the fabric. It holds the flag up just like the original scrapped unit, the Napoleonic Flag Bearer. Before the battle, a colored circle is shown around the Flag Bearer, helping distinguish which units are being buffed. This is the same as the Banner Bearer and other banner bearing units.

Usage

The Flag Bearer wields a large flag that it uses to buff all nearby units, giving them a significant speed boost. It is indicated by particles similar to the catapult's rock explosion beneath their feet. This unit is helpful for breaking through enemy lines/formations, and is also good for fighting against armies made up of mostly ranged units. It's the polar opposite of the Banner Bearer.

Trivia

• It was originally in the 1.0 Physics Engine of TABS, but was scrapped before public release.
• The Flag Bearer (along with the Healer and Banner Bearer) will automatically trigger a unit's spacebar ability when it isn't on cooldown.
