Characteristics
The Berserker is a duel wielding axe-person of the Viking faction, they specialize in closing their gaps with other units, by leaping in great heights to reach enemy units. In combat, they will swing their axes wildly and can chop through lines of units if not stopped.
Appearance
It wields 2 axes, one in each hand, and wears a horned helmet. It has a beard, and both of their armpits are hairy. When this Unit gets close enough to the enemy units, they leap at them. Like other members of the Viking faction, it wears Landfall's logo on their waist.

Usage
The Berserker has medium health and is of mixed usefulness. It has no shield but does dual wield handheld axes. It has a moderate attack speed and will leap into battle. It also doesn't take damage when it charges.
Distraction
This Unit can be used as an angry distraction. It will charge into battle making shield and other melee units turn around and may cause enemy ranged units to shoot at them, and they will most likely miss, wasting a shot. Allowing ranged units to shoot at their backside bringing down some defenders.
Destroyer
This unit's leap can be taken into account. It can leap over defense into the enemies ranged line, doing a great toll of damage to them. They can also jump vertically, reaching units positioned on rocks, buildings, and other hard-to-reach places.
Trivia
- The Longship Carriers look a lot like Berserkers. They do not have any weapons, however, and they also have no fur-lined cloth under their belt.
- Whenever the berserker jumps it can't take damage.
- In real life, Vikings actually didn't have horns in their helmets, due to:
- A. being able to grab their head, and...
- B. they could knock the helm off, then combo with a blow to the skull, potentially knocking them out.
- C. However, some Germanic tribes wore horns on their helmets, although these were much smaller than the giant horns featured in popular imagination, and they were also only for ceremonial functions.
- It is one of many units that can dual wield (others being Chieftain, Potionseller, Valkyrie, Gunslinger, Zeus, Scarecrow, CLAMS, Candlehead, Flintlock, Bomb Thrower, Pirate Queen, Ninja, Sensei, Mace Spinner, Boxer, Super Boxer, Cheerleader, Ice Mage, Jester, Ballooner, Banshee, Blackbeard, and Ullr).
- Its axes often stick to an enemy when it hits them, along with Vlad's Stake and the Valkyrie's Sword.
- They can swarm better than Halflings or Painters but cost more.
