Abilities are skills or powers a unit can have that are not [just] bound to a specific weapon. These Abilities can either serve as a boost to the unit's capabilities, or completely shape them in such ways a weapon could not. Some Abilities affect the unit passively, while most will have a cooldown after it is performed. As Abilities are not classified as weapons, their stats cannot be altered by any means.

Many default units have Abilities, and these same abilities are available in the Unit Creator; however, a few units' abilities are different than their Unit Creator counterparts. Still, the Unit Creator offers many abilities that none of the default units possess. Custom units can have up to five Abilities.

There are currently 93 abilities available in the game, including both those used by vanilla units and those only available in the Unit Creator. Below is a list of Abilities available in the Unit Creator. Hover above their icon to view their descriptions or click on them to visit their respective pages.

List of Abilities

Attack

Allows the unit to jump into the nearest opponent, creating a shockwave with great knockback and decent AoE damage.
Allows the unit to spin around while dropping a cluster of bombs around them and then jump high into the air to avoid the explosions.
Allows the unit to charge aggressively at their opponents when engaging. Unlike other charges, the unit attacks with their weapon when they reach their target's position.
Allows the unit to leap into the air and come back down with a fiery kick that has an explosive impact.
Fire envelops the hand of the unit as they lunge at their target, resulting in an extremely high-force & damage, fiery explosion.

Allows the unit to breathe a large stream of fire that burns units and pushes them back.
Allows the unit to release a fiery shout that pushes and burns any unit within its range.
Allows the unit to do a backflip that causes serious AoE damage.
Allows the unit to smash their head into their opponents.
Allows the unit to breathe a large stream of ice that freezes units to death.

Allows the unit to kick an enemy in the face.
Allows the unit to perform a short charge at their opponents when engaging.
Allows the unit to charge disruptively at their opponents when engaging.
Allows the unit to kick an enemy in the crouch.
Allows the unit to kick an enemy in the chest.

Allows the unit to create (shout)wave that causes high knockback and very low damage.
Allows the unit to have swords orbiting around them, which can be sent flying toward nearby opponents. It also makes the unit hover off the ground.
Allows the unit to kick an enemy with great force and precision.
Allows the unit to summon a lightning bolt from the sky down onto their opponents.
Allows the unit to bite enemies, draining their hitpoints steadily.

Death Event

Makes the unit drop a bomb on death.
Makes the unit explode and subsequently implode on death.

Defensive

Allows the unit to shoot cactus needles in all directions upon taking damage.
Forms a barrier of hands around the unit that stop projectiles and throw large ones back. Also grabs enemy units up and crushes them into the ground.
Allows the unit to indefinitely deflect almost all projectiles.
Equips the unit with an extremely projectile resilient hay bale.
Allows the unit to zap away most projectiles.

Allows the unit to masterfully deflect a large amount of projectiles before requiring a short cooldown.
Allows the unit to skillfully deflect most projectiles.
Allows the unit to parry and dodge most melee attacks.

Dodge

Allows the unit to dodge melee attacks by moving back a distance.
Allows the unit to dodge melee attacks by hoping a step back.
Allows the unit to dodge melee attacks in a stylish way.
Allows the unit to dodge melee attacks by dashing away.
Allows the unit to dodge projectiles by quickly strafing away.

Allows the unit to dodge melee attacks nimbly with quick dashes.
Allows the unit to dodge melee attacks by leaping away, before gathering a yellow energy and charging back towards the enemy, causing a medium sized explosion that deals low damage but incredibly high knockback.

Movement

Allows the unit to teleport behind the furthest enemy unit with some preference for earlier-placed units.
Allows the unit to leap clumsily toward the enemy.

Allows the unit to float in the air instead of walking.

Allows the unit to teleport to whoever hits them first and create an explosion that does moderate damage with a damage over time effect.
Makes the unit do weird flips when in close combat.

Neon

Gives the unit a pack that disintegrates incoming projectiles.

Trivia

  • You can select an ability with both your right and left clicks at the same time. This equips your unit with two abilities simultaneously, allowing you to surpass the 5-abilities limit, which brings the limit up to 24. But you can also use other methods that can bring the limit even higher.
