Sacred Elephant
The Sacred Elephant is a cavalry unit from the Fantasy Good faction. They are equipped with Sacred Spears. |
Characteristics
The Sacred Elephant carries a seriously powerful Elephant Rider that throws two deadly spears at enemy units. Each spear, when thrown, will deal high damage as well as sucking nearby units and doing minor damage. Akin to the much well known Mammoth, the elephant will charge and stomp enemy units, albeit much weaker than their ancestors. The elephant and the Spear Thrower are not bound by health and can be separated even if none of them were killed.
Appearance
The Elephant seems to be a mixture of an African Elephant and an Asian Elephant, with a golden ring for each tusk. It wears a golden headpiece, and has a strap around its neck in which is connected to the grand saddle/seat, also made of gold, but also with team-colored cushions. However, where the saddle should be is actually covered by a blanket, also team-colored.
The Rider itself appears to have some sort of tied hat, with an ovular crystal, like gold, dead center. Its hair is completely white. It wears a white short tank-top, with gold linings here and there. It also wears baggy white shorts and sandals.
Unit Voice

Strategy
The Sacred Elephant is useful against masses of melee units as the spears can gather large groups into one place for the Elephant to easily stomp on. It's vulnerable to ranged units and units with lunging attacks make these opportunities very few.
Generally, the Sacred Elephant Rider is the one who does the most damage, with the Elephant itself being there to support and tank for the rider. The spears do great damage, able to kill Jarls in two hits (not accounting for their Enrage), although the reload time is slow, which is why the Elephant comes into play, providing extra damage for groups of weaker enemies and tanking against stronger ones and also helping the rider be more stable as throwing the javelins make the rider fall down while on foot.
Sometimes, however, when the Elephant is hit and falls down or falls down by itself, the rider will be dismounted. While this leaves the rider more able to hit whatever unit they want, it is also a hindrance as the previously mentioned recoil of the spears causes them to be more vulnerable against melee units. Additionally, if not supported by other units, then the rider will be killed by ranged units easily, owing to no shield.
Trivia
- The Elephant itself shares the same voice as the Mammoth; its rider also has the same voice as the Ninja.
- The rider's voice is considered WIP when found in the UC's selectable voices, so it has a chance to change in the future.
- Despite the trunk hinting that it may be African, it has rather short ears, akin to an Asian Elephant.
- The rider's hair on its own slightly clips into the units head.
- The elephant has leg bands as one of its props, but they are beneath the feet than on the actual legs.
- Oddly enough, another version of the clothing when applied is placed correctly, accessible via UCM.
- The chair on top of the Ancient Elephant is apart of its body, meaning that it will take damage when the chair is hit.
- War Elephants were common weapons in Indian history, as soldiers would commonly attach saddles (Or small towers, even) to the backs of elephants during war.
