MAC-10
The MAC-10 (Military Armament Corporation Model 10) is a ranged weapon from TABG. It is not used by any unit and is found only in the Unit Creator.
Characteristics
The MAC-10 is a submachine gun, a weapon with immeasurably high rate of fire. It fires so fast that it can immediately start, shoot and go dry in less than half a second. While the bullet themselves inflict extremely low damage, the sheer amount that can be fired in such a short period can completely blast units back tremendously.
The MAC-10 also has a good range. However, one major setback of the weapon is its poor accuracy, due to its wide bullet spread and awkward aiming. The weapon has a clip size of 35 shots, and will require a long time to reload after firing all shots. While seemingly plenty, the weapon can empty its clip within half a second. This makes its high fire-rate do more harm than good, as units will empty its clip before they can even take aim, wasting most of its shots.
Like most modern firearms in the game, the time it takes to reload a clip cannot be altered in the Unit Creator. And while the powerful knockback can expose shield bearers to its bullets, the shield itself cannot be pierced by the bullets.
Trivia
- The MAC-10 uses the same ammunition as the PPSh-41 in-game.
- Its firing speed is so tremendous that bullets come out in burst of two to three, with the first shot being capable of firing a burst of seven shots due to its reload speed being faster than its already instantaneous warm-up.
- Unless its reload speed was reduced, a single click will shoot three to four shots when possessing a unit with the MAC-10.
- It is not recommended to wield this weapon one-handed, as units will aim it 45° from their target, devastating their already subpar accuracy.
- The MAC-10 can fire either .45 ACP ammunition or 9×19mm Parabellum ammunition in real-life.
