Projectile Shield
The Projectile Shield is a Unit belonging to the Neon Faction, which blocks small projectiles.
Appearance
The Projectile Shield looks like a black, four wheeled tower with neon lights. On top of the structure, there appears to be some sort of Neon Cube, where the lasers come from. The Projectile Shield's mounter appears to wear a helmet with a visor with the shape slightly resembling a Footman Helmet. The Projectile Shield's mounter holds on to the top of the structure and seems to control it.
Usage
The Projectile Shield can be used offensively or defensively depending on how the user wants it to be:
- Offensively - The Projectile Shield can be used offensively as a rapid firing unit. Although not recommended since it does low damage, it can deal with a swarm and block projectiles at the same time. They are not recommended in extreme combat situations, as they can be cut down by most units. Thus, the only time you should use the Projectile Shield offensively is when you are dealing with weak units, like Peasants.
Note: When it has no projectile to shoot down, it attacks the nearest enemy unit.
- Defensively - The Projectile Shield is at its best when it is used as a defensive unit. In this case, it shoots down ANY projectiles (even the ones fired by its allies). The Projectile Shield is a must have when dealing against a swarm of ranged units (Muskets, Archers, Ninjas, etc.), or blocking Hwacha barrages. It can only shoot physical projectiles down.
Note: The Projectile Shield can't shoot down Hillary's emails or large projectiles launched by units like Catapults and Ballistae. You do not want to have ranged units on the same team as the Projectile Shield, as it cannot distinguish between friendly and enemy projectiles. It also cannot shoot down Energy Pistol and Beamer shots, due to the fact that they are not "physical" projectiles.
Trivia
- The Tower used to be purple and had two wheels, similar in appearance to a Segway.
- The original version showcased had no attack, but reflected projectiles back at the opposing army.
- It completely negates the Chicken Man Man and its chickens, as their chickens count as a projectile.
- The Projectile Shield used to be called the "The Anti Projectile Tower."
