Ballooner Grab
The Ballooner Grab is a Secret melee weapon from the Renaissance faction. It is used by the Ballooner.
Characteristics
The Ballooner Grab is an sticky unarmed utility that can stick onto enemy units. It will stick on as long as an enemy unit come into contact with its sticky surface. Glued units will have all their weapons disabled for 5 seconds; this does not affect abilities. The adhesiveness will wear out after sticking for 4 to 5 seconds, where one must attack to make it sticky again.
Units with the Ballooner Grab will approach their opponents and attempt to punch them. Contacting the sticky surface of will always cause extremely minuscule damage, regardless if the unit attacked or not. After attacking, it will have a short cooldown period before it can attack again. It also has a longer attack range than it can actually reach, allowing it to preemptively start a swing.
Trivia
- The Ballooner Grab's weapon disabling ability can be countered with the Priest Staff.
- The Ballooner Grab will glitch in the Unit Creator if a unit equip it two-handed.
- Another Ballooner Grab will also spawn and float in the air when this happens; more can be spawned by cycling one-handed and two-handed.
- The duplicates will disappear after resetting the unit.
