Projectile Block
The Projectile Block is a defensive ability for all weapons to deflect incoming projectiles. It is used by the Samurai, the Shogun, the Lady Red Jade and the Samurai Giant. |
Characteristics
The Projectile Block abilities grants units the skill to deflect projectiles away from them with a bright slash using any weapon. This ability can be more beneficial than a shield as the unit will not receive whatever explosive effect that comes with the projectile, unlike a shield where it passively blocks projectiles. However, deflecting has a cooldown and multiple projectiles can overwhelm the unit.
Higher ranks of Projectile Block such as the Master Projectile Block can deflect much more projectiles at once before its cooldown. For the Projectile Block, it can deflect 1 projectile before needing a 1 second cooldown to deflect another. The Master Projectile Block can take on 20 projectiles before needing a 3 second cooldown to deflect 20 more. Lastly, the Godlike Projectile Block can practically deflect an infinite number of projectiles without any cooldown.
All Projectile Blocks will deflect projectiles 1 WM from the unit in all directions, except the normal Projectile Block which only can only deflect projectiles from the front.
An outlier is the Samurai Giant's Giant Projectile Block, which is unavailable in the Unit Creator. It can deflect 3 projectiles before needing a 4 second cooldown and can deflect from 5 WM away. Similar to the Godlike Projectile Block, it can also deflect higher tier projectiles that the standard Projectile Block could not.

Trivia
- Rarely, a deflected projectile can hit the shooter or a nearby unit.
- Units with the Projectile Blocks will attempt to deflect the Divine Homing Orbs, but they will always hit the unit no matter what.
- When the Godlike Projectile Block was first released, it cannot deflect projectiles properly and performed worse than the standard Projectile Block.
