Chakram
The Chakram is a Miscellaneous ranged weapon. It is not used by any unit and is found only in the Unit Creator.
Characteristics
The Chakram is a throwable semi-circular blade that is dual-wielded in one hand, forming a circle. These weapons spin horizontally when thrown by the user. When thrown, it will split into two and impact units in its way. They are usually big and because of their weight, take a longer time to be thrown as compared to the others. Though gruesome when struck, the thrown projectile inflicts little damage and has a short range. The weapon however has a very fast reload time that is almost on par with most melee weapons and can be thrown frequently.
History
The Chakram was a throwing weapon from the Indian subcontinent. They were often worn on the turban to protect their heads from melee attacks. It is also known as a Chalikar or war-quoit. A smaller variant worn on the wrist is called a Chakri. The Chakri Dong was a staff with a chakri attached to it. Flying disc toys' shape were inspired by the disc of the Chakram.
