Skeleton Giant
The Skeleton Giant is a Secret melee unit from the Spooky faction. They are equipped with Giant Stiffy Sword and the Giant Stiffy Shield. |
Location
The Skeleton Giant is found on the Spooky 1 map on the left side in the graveyard. |
Characteristics
The Skeleton Giant is a ginormous Skeleton Warrior. They will send everyone who dares attack them in horrible fright. In addition, they can kick units who dare to stand against them.
Appearance
The Skeleton Giant, unsurprisingly, is a Stiffy. It is dressed in ragged shorts, a Greek-style helmet and greaves. It wields a "small" shield and a sword. When it is killed, it collapses into bones. It makes rattling noises, and occasionally growls or roars in a wheezy, hollow voice. The unit is also very big compared to other units.

Usage
The Skeleton Giant wields a giant sword and giant shield, making it versatile in combat. The Giant Skeleton acts like a Skeleton Warrior, except that it has much more health, damage, is 3 times larger, and a little slower. Besides, this unit inflicts a lot of kicking damage. One ability is that it causes nearby units to become temporarily "afraid", preventing them from attacking and making them run away. This "fear" ability can be a scourge to enemy melee units, and drive enemies off ledges and into water. This fear ability even covers a huge radius.
However, it's not the best unit to use in many situations. For starters, it has terrible precision, as they struggle to hit their opponents a majority of the time. Moreover, it will in fact die to the other giants in the game, as not only does it lack accuracy, but it also has so little HP for a Unit so large. Finally, they're also extremely slow, and taking advantage of this, you could place multiple long-ranged Units to chip away at its health, or you could use something that with high DPS and high HP, and even then high knockback specials can be considered as well, as long as you keep them out of harm's way.
Counter
If you are facing a Skeleton Giant, the best thing that you can use to defeat them is the Ballista, because its shield can't stop it, but if you are facing several ones, the other giants are really recommended, especially Tree Giant, because they don't take the damage of its kicks, which are the main source of its damage.
This unit is encountered in the Fantasy Evil (Campaign). |

Trivia
- Their shield cannot stop a Ballista Bolt, despite its massive size.
- Apparently, the Teacher, Pirate Queen and Pirate Captain can parry the Skeleton Giant's sword, which is strange, as the sword is much bigger.
- This is likely unintentional.
- The only reason behind this is that the developers simply resized the sword without any consideration that they could still parry it.
- However, the Pirate Queen's swords is not that small compared to the SG's sword.
- This is likely unintentional.
- Not a single unit can resist the Skeleton Giant's Fear Effect.
- Skeleton Giants (in big) numbers can scare the Super Peasant and bury them under their bones, leaving them paralyzed and vulnerable to enemy attacks, especially melee attacks like Precise Hurricane Slash.
- Whenever the Skeleton Giant is walking on a siege weapon, like Ballista and Catapults, it makes a kicking noise when its foot touches the machine, though this seems not to cause damage.
- Surprisingly, the main source of skeleton giant's high damage is its kicks, not its sword and shield.
- A Mammoth charging against a Skeleton Giant is suicidal; the charge will cause the Mammoth to take humongous amount of kick damage and be defeated in mere seconds.
- Skeleton Giant is able to defeat the Super Boxer in 1v1, even with the whopping 8300 price difference.
