Ninja
The Ninja is a ranged unit from the Dynasty faction. They are equipped with Shuriken Throws. |
Characteristics
The Ninja (Shinobi) throws powerful shurikens at enemies. They don't throw nearly as many shurikens as their greater counterpart, the Sensei, but they make up for it with their lower price.
Appearance
The ninja is a Wobbler wearing colored hood and robes, concealing most of its body, and which are corresponding to its team's color, while also holding a shuriken on each hand. Only the eyes are visible.

Usage
The Ninja, with its rapid throwing of shurikens, can easily take down both large groups and single, tough enemies. The shuriken does low damage but has a decent amount of knockback. The Ninja can use these to easily keep melee units at bay. Unlike most other ranged units, the Ninja retains most of its accuracy at close range.
These shinobu do have weaknesses, however. Units armed with shields can do well against the Ninja, as the shield blocks the shuriken's damage and lessens the knockback. Most ranged units are also good against the Ninja, as the latter's range is usually much lower, and it doesn't have a lot of health, making it a prime target for ranged units to pick off.
Trivia
- Ninjas in Open and Closed Alphas attacked slower but had a lot higher damage.
- Despite popular belief, they are not the reason the Poacher was removed. The Poacher was removed because they were hard to balance with Archers.
- The real life Ninja (which would be called Shinobi at the time) In feudal Japan, was a sort of spy for a local lord. Ninja features included their combat skills in martial arts, including reconnaissance, espionage, infiltration, deception, ambush, bodyguards, ninjutsu and taijutsu. Despite common popular culture, plenty of Samurai were ninja themselves. Specially trained spies and mercenary shinobi appeared in the 15th century during the Warring States period, but their predecessors may have existed in the 12th century
- Ninjutsu is still practiced in Japan today, although ninjas as secret government agents no longer exist.
- One other thing to note is that Ninja Stars were also used in real life. However, they were merely distractions, not lethal weapons, although some of them were poisoned and thrown at the enemy.
