Winchester
The Winchester is a ranged weapon from the Wild West faction. It is used by the Deadeye.
Characteristics
The Winchester can cut through multiple lines of units with just one shot and possesses high damage. It shoots out Winchester Bullet (Projectile).
Appearance
The modeling of the Winchester resembles Winchester M1894 in real life, although there is no rifling in the barrel.
History
When Winchester M1894 was first produced in 1894, it used black powder ammunition. It used 32-40 Winchester and .38-55 Winchester. A year later in 1895, the first dedicated smokeless powder rifle round, the .30-30 Winchester, was developed.
The gun's light weight, ease of carrying and rapid-fire lever action made the Winchester M1894 a popular hunting rifle. Thanks to this, it won the title of the first sports rifle to record 7 million sales. The 1 millionth rifle was given to President Calvin Coolidge in 1927, and the 1.5 millionth rifle to Harry S. in 1948. For President Truman, the 2 millionth rifle was given to President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953.
Some were used not only for hunting but also for military purposes, during World War I the U.S. government had 1,800 Winchester M1894 and 50,000 guns. 30-30 cartridges were purchased and paid to Signal Cops soldiers guarding logging operations in the Northeast Pacific region. The British Navy also purchased about 5,000 M1894s in 1914 and paid them to soldiers tasked with clearing landmines, while the French also bought about 15,100 of them for use by artillery, trench railway personnel and some hot air balloon passengers. During World War II, Canadian coast guards were equipped to defend against Japanese aggression into the west coast.
