Pirate Queen
The Pirate Queen is the boss unit from the Pirate faction. They are equipped with the Piratequeen's Sabre, the Piratequeen's Cutlass as well as the Bomb Spin and the Pirate Kick. |
Characteristics
The Pirate Queen is a melee specialist and main Boss of the Pirate Faction that duel wields a Cutlass and Sabre. The Pirate Queen can parry incoming attacks with their tow cutlasses and is a rather deadly striker. The Pirate Queen will also kick enemy units. If outnumbered, the Pirate Queen will spin and release several bombs, then proceed to helicopter upwards, with the bombs blowing up the units below it.
Appearance
The Pirate Queen wears a cloth covering one of their eyes. The Pirate Queen also curly long hair with hair beads as well as long red brown boots, pink pants, a red skirt with green beads around it, a red short-sleeved shirt, and a brown bomb sash. The Pirate Queen wields an unusually big Cutlass and a jewel-embedded custom Sabre.

Usage
The Pirate Queen uses two swords to slash down units and can parry with them, with fairly significant damage. The Pirate Queen's secondary ability is its bomb attack, where it spins around, drops bombs, jumps into the air, and spins in the air. It may not kill high health units such as the Jarl, though. The Pirate Queen can also use a kicking ability at close range, which is rather effective on other dodging units.
The Pirate Queen is shown to be extremely powerful, being able to defeat a Shogun and even Lady Red Jade, and fairly resistant as many Musketeers are required to take it down.
Surprisingly, summoner units like Snake Archers, CLAMS, and Scarecrows are solid counters to the Pirate Queen, as the summoned Clams/Snakes/Scarecrows are hard to hit, while they also deal damage, and by the time that the Pirate Queen is done dealing with the summoned units, they are ready to summon another batch.
Trivia
- In TABS Developer Clips #6, the Pirate Queen looked completely different, with the Captain's hat as well as dual-wielding the Captain's Cutlass and a Sabre, and no eye cover. This was because they mashed together some clothing as a placeholder for the clip because they hadn't made their full outfit yet.
- The Pirate Queen takes fall damage, despite having the ability to jump very high.
- The Pirate Queen is often considered the best non-secret units in-game, as it can 1v1 most units and win.
- When possessing it, attempting to use their Bomb Spin on an enemy without attacking it will make it "dodge" the enemy instead, like The Teacher. This is also the case with the Captain's kick ability while it is charging.
- Pirate Queen can occasionally defeat a Samurai Giant in 1v1, even though they have a 500 cost difference.
- The Pirate Queen used to be able to defeat them most of the time before UC beta, but after UC it uses its sword more often, dealing heavy damage to it.
- One of the Pirate Queen's swords is a Cutlass and the other is a Sabre, but customized so it can be embedded with a bunch of jewels.
- As of the 0.12.0 update, when the Pirate Queen used their Bomb Spin, they would flip or cartwheel instead of doing a normal mid-air Chun-li bird kick or Ballet twirl.
- This is no longer the case as of the UC.
- The Pirate Queen can, in rare cases, defeat an Ice Giant in a 1v1, despite their whopping 3500 difference.
- The Pirate Queen may be the best unit while fighting Minotaurs, as it can kill up to 10 of them by themself.
- The Pirate Queen's Parry unlike the Teacher Parry cannot have a unit dodge melee attacks.
