Characteristics
The Skeleton Archer is the primary ranged Unit of the Spooky Faction. It wields a bow with flaming arrows. Unlike conventional arrows, the fire arrows will burst those who got shot into flames. The flames will spread to nearby units as well.
Appearance
The Skeleton Archer is a Stiffy that wears a rugged Archer hood with a tattered cape, and a belt. It wields a bow made out of bones, and shoots flaming arrows.

Usage
The Skeleton Archer can be used in a similar fashion to the standard Archer - as a long ranged damage dealer. The impact of an arrow does not do significant damage; the flame is the real threat. The burning effect caused by these arrows quickly depletes the target's health, and is also stackable. However, the flames will go out after a few seconds.
Although the Skeleton Archer has a higher rate of fire than the standard Archer, the burning effect does give enemies units an extra second or two of life (assuming the burning damage will kill them), during which time they can attack your units or perform other actions. Burning damage can also be mitigated by the Healer. Like their Skeleton Warrior cousins, the Skeleton Archer is a very fragile unit. Most standard attacks will kill them (Even the Wheelbarrow's apple thrower) so it's best to keep them out of harm's way.
Trivia
- Their predecessor is the Fire Archer, revealed in a Landfall trailer.
- Being a skeleton, it makes rattling sounds as it walks.
- The Skeleton Archer does not cause the same "fear" effect as the Skeleton Warrior. This is likely due to the fact that the Skeleton Archer fires flaming arrows, but the Skeleton Warrior's only gimmick is causing fear.
