Necromancer
The Necromancer is a Secret ranged unit from the Spooky faction. They are equipped with the Necromancer Knife and the Necromancer Lantern. |
Location
Characteristics
The Necromancer will throw a skull projectile from their ghoulish lantern, and if a unit is hit, they will slowly perish, rotting away until their ultimate demise, in which they will be resurrected as a Skeleton of the Necromancer's team. They also can summon 3 graves from the ground, pushing anyone away if they're starting to close the distance. Finally, it is equipped with a sickle in its right hand that inflicts heavy damage.
Appearance
The Necromancer appears to be a generic Stiffy, wearing a leather cap with 2 horns protruding on each side. Their clothes are tattered and is made out of two crudely stitched together pieces of cloth while its pants are mere shorts, and his only foot protection are some worn out boots. They also have two metallic armbands on each Humerus.
It appears to have a magical, team-colored kerosene lantern, with a ghostly flame inside, lit by a tiny wax candle. The blue ghost-flame also is seen encircling the lantern, in a counter-clockwise manner at rather fast speeds. The Necromancer also wields a Sickle, though it is considerably scraped down, with multiple tiny bits of the blade missing. Interestingly, the handle of the sickle doesn't seem to be made out of the same material as the hook, instead being made out of bone.
On another note, when it dies, its lantern will make an interesting effect, where the encircling blue flames of the lantern will explode in a ghostly aura.

Strategies
Usage
As they have the ability to turn any unit into your team, (albeit with no abilities and reduced health) they can particularly effective against any enemies, even units like The King and Jarl if there are units to distract them enough. Possessing the Necromancer and targetting specific units in a level is also a great strategy and if done correctly, can ensure your victory.
Lantern
The skull projectile the lantern produces will lightly drain the health of an affected unit, said unit will turn into a skeleton and switch to the Necromancer's team when killed (Though if the unit dies straight away it won't turn into a Skeleton), keeping the main use it had, as a ranged or melee unit, if the unit was a ranged unit it will have Skeleton Archer clothes, and if the unit was a melee unit it will have Skeleton Warrior clothes. Low health Skeletons will maintain all of their stats except health, abilities and speed.
Sickle
Just like any other melee weapon, as it has a very short range, but also rather low accuracy; however, it deals high damage to compensate for that.
Powers
If a Unit gets too close to it, it will bring graves out of the ground and push them away.
Encounters
This unit is encountered in the Fantasy Evil (Campaign). |

Trivia
- The Necromancer can convert skeletons to its side even if the Unit is already a skeleton.
- They can also convert team members into skeletons.
- Units affected by the Lantern projectile will have ghostly wisps circling around them until they are killed/converted or until the effect wears off.
- When a Mammoth, a Raptor or Horse is converted by the Necromancer, they become two Skeleton Warriors instead of becoming a skeleton of one of these animals.
- Strangely, if it hits the Da Vinci Tank, it will turn into more than two.
- When a Necromancer converts a Unit they will keep the weapon they originally had, meaning you can have skeletons carrying Guns, different types of Swords, etc. However, this includes special hands such as the Ballooner's glue hands, the Banshee's Hands, or even the Super Peasant's Punch if you manage to convert a Super Peasant into a skeleton.
- Interestingly, a Necromancer can be converted, and nothing changes except it's clothes. It can also be converted twice into a skeleton archer. Below image showcases this.
- When a Necromancer converts a Unit to a skeleton, they can somehow accidentally convert the unit twice.
- Strangely, the 2nd time a unit is converted they are transformed into a plain Skeleton Warrior (if they were a melee Unit) or Skeleton Archer (if they were a ranged Unit)
- Surprisingly, the Necromancer's projectiles can wear off, it just takes a relatively long time.
- The Necromancer Pants can be worn, even by Wobblers, if you change the unit base to a Stiffy and scroll down to the Fantasy Evil pants, you can equip them. This still stays on if you change the unit base to any other.
