Overview
Hover is an ability that makes any unit hover at varying points in the air.
- It is a special ability in the Unit Creator.
- The Swordcaster, the second phase of the Chronomancer, the Tempest Lich, and the Reaper uses this.
- The more times you add this to a unit in the Unit creator, the higher the unit floats. Though this has a limit.
- The heavier the unit, the lower it hovers.
Usage
- Hovering units usually move at a much faster pace, able to reach/evade the battle much easier.
- Units with this ability will be able to evade damage from the Catapult, the CLAMS, or other units that shoot towards the ground.
- It is still possible to get damaged by catapult rocks if it directly crashes down the hovering unit.
- Hovering units can cross through fences and other small obstacles more easily than those on foot.
- Fall damage does not occur as hovering units float down slowly, meaning they're safe if they're pushed off or in possession mode, if you have to immediately escape an enemy by jumping down. (Note that falling off the map and into water still results in death)
