Witch
The Witch is a Secret cavalry unit from the Spooky faction. They are equipped with the Witch Staff. |
Location
You find this unit on Spooky 2 floating by the shrine. There, its head and the broom are going to be the key to unlocking this unit Look at them; they'll start glowing. |
Characteristics
The Witch is a broom riding unit with magical attacks. They throw spells that make those who were hit grow mushrooms, and making the units hit start attacking their allies whilst ignoring the real enemies, all while they are poisoned to death. They will also summon two clones side by side, each two will throw mushroom spells, though they do fade after 8 seconds. So overall, if you want a good amount of support on your side, and a great distraction that can fight, then this Unit may be a good choice for your army.
Appearance
The Witch, contradicting to many stereotypical interpretations, looks like a Stiffy riding a floating broom, with mushrooms growing out of it and the units attire. It appears to wear a tall hat, and a tattered robe with trousers that have been ripped to its femurs, and wields a Witch Staff.

Usage
The Witch does a variety of things, like using:
The Staff
The Staff the Witch uses shoots out a Spore-based Projectile that "Infects" the unit, & also uses the Staff itself to hit units as a melee attack, just in case anyone comes close. The more health a unit has, the more projectiles it takes to "Infect" the unit. When a unit is "Infected" they will attack their teammates. "Infected" Units turn purple and have mushrooms on them. They also poison the units, dealing damage over time.
Clones
The Witch can also summon weaker clones of themself. These clones will also throw Spores at the enemies, but will disappear after around 7-15 seconds. Nonetheless, this is one of their most devastating attributes in battle.

Trivia
- The unit is similar to Cupid, except they makes units attack their teammates, not smooch them.
- This unit and the Monkey King are the only units that can clone themselves.
- A lot of Witches can kill a Super Peasant, even if accompanied with a Dark Peasant, for it will make the Super Peasant attack the Dark Peasant, and afterward it won't have a target, so it'll stop and the Witches will kill it, and because of their cloning ability, you don't need to place a large group of them, just 50-70 will do the job.
- Because of the Enrage, a single Jarl can (but not always will) kill an infinite amount of Witches, which makes it extremely effective if you are facing a horde of them.
- They, along with the Dark Peasant, Super Peasant, Present Elf and the Sensei, are not present in the nintendo switch release.
- This is probably because of performance issues.
