Characteristics
When engaged in a fierce battle and surrounded by enemies, the unit can drop 7 bombs around them and jump into the air, spinning around while doing the splits, avoiding being a victim to the bombs. Whilst jumping, the unit is invulnerable for 2.5 seconds. The ability deals very high AoE damage and it is extremely effective at crowd control.
The Bomb Spin requires a 8 second cooldown before it can be activated; however, it will not tick on its own when at the start of the battle. Instead, one must be within about 6 WM from their enemy and either attack or get attacked for the timer to go down. Leaving the range of an enemy units will stall the timer. Once the ability is ready, it can be activated anytime, anywhere, as long as an enemy is within sight. After a spin and landing on the ground, another 8 second cooldown will ensue.
Strengths
- Very high AoE damage.
- Large AoE area.
- Dealing damage while helicopter kicking (this could be good for the large units, like Mammoth).
- Crowd control.
Weaknesses
- The unit takes a serious fall damage after falling (this can be avoided by Ballooner Backpack ability).
- Friendly fire.
Trivia
- The jump to avoid explosions is in a similar manner to the spinning bird kick from street fighter.
