TABS 2017 is a beta version of TABS that used the 2.0 Physics engine and was made in 2017. It is one of the 23 games and projects featured in Landfall Archives. Before Landfall Archives, the version was unreleased. There are many differences between this version and TABS in its Early Access and Full Release versions. The game is found on Landfall Archives for free, just click on this link. There you will be able to play TABS 2017 along with another 22 games that were previously unreleased by Landfall.

Differences

  • The main menu has a much different design.
  • The "Options" button doesn't work.
  • There are no "Workshop", "Map Creator", or "Roadmap" buttons.
  • The Campaign level select menu takes the form of a map, rather than a menu.
  • The win screen looks very different from the Full Release.
  • There is only 1 Campaign that only goes up to farmer levels with a total of 14 levels, there's no medieval levels or more.
  • The loading screen has the silhouettes of a Squire (Then called Swordsman) and a Nunchuck (Scrapped unit) fighting.
  • The maps are drastically different from the Early Access and Full Release versions.
  • By pressing F1-F8 you can change the language of the game.
  • Press CTRL to activate grid.
  • There are no factions from early access update 0.9.0 and onward.
  • There is the World War, Modern, and Custom Faction.
  • Factions are very different from their modern counterparts.
  • The Jarl has infinite health.
