- How is it that despite them being the same length and having the exact same weapon model, the Squire's sword is a longsword and the Teacher's sword is an arming sword?

- The Ulfberht swords were all one-handed. The Valkyrie dual wields two-handed swords very similar to that of the Squire.

- Tachi (Tachis?) were not a type of katana, they were separate weapons. The only real way to tell which type of blade is wielded by the Samurai is by the curve of the blade and tang, as there isn't really any accurate measuring system and the weapon is always drawn, never sheathed. The weapon Samurai use in game has practically no curve, so I believe it is more closely based on the katana, though it doesn't look all that much like either of them. 

- I'm not sure you'd call the Samurai Giant's weapon an odachi, as it is not that the blade is especially long, but the whole thing is just a scaled-up katana. Katanas are two-handed swords by the way.
